Hoffmaster

Just a few pictures from our latest outing. I surprised Andy by taking him out hiking to Hoffmaster State park--he had never been there. It was really cold by so fun. The pictures that look like a field of snow is actually the frozen Lake Michigan. We walked out really far to the edge and we saw icebergs floating all around us. It was really neat. We also hiked up some of the dunes--which is quite treacherous when it is icy. It was a great afternoon

Few pictures from our Confrence Championship meet. The Lady Knights did very well...we won by 180 points....and we're sending 12 girls(i think) to Nationals. The boys did very well too...Andy won both the 50 and 100. He was the first guy from Calvin to break 21 seconds in the 50 and the first guy to win the 50 since 1976! It was a great meet with lots of memories. I will miss swimming tremendously...because of all the friendship and fun times we had...NOT THE 6AM practices!

Interim

This is the quilt I created for my interim class. Yes...I took quiltting and got 3 credits for it! I did not have enough fabric for the back so it too had to be pieced together. It turned out okay and it is a great quilt for watching TV on cold days!
