Here are just a few of our engagement pictures. Our friend Mike took these in the beginning of October. I"m so excited about the way they turned out!

Fall Camping

We went camping a couple of weekends ago! We did the same trail that we had done last year in the spring. We went with a whole group of people and it was a good time! We found this great spot that had a rope swing...that the boys went off of. It was too cold for us girls, but it was a good time with some great views of the fall colors!

Andy and I are ENGAGED!!!! He totally surprised me on saturday, and I couldn't be happier!

Jordans Birthday

We all went out for Jordan's birthday last night! He didn't suspect a thing! We went to the Olive garden. I got him a book called Walter the Farting Dog....

Spring in Michigan

Spring is finally here...and the trees and flowers are blossoming. I'm so ready for summer after the winter we had! Andy got a moped recently--to cut down on the ridiculous amount of money needed for gas, as well as it being good for the environment. Here are just a few pictures!

Marathon

This past sunday, Andy did his first marathon! He did really well...he got third in his age group and 20th out of 214 people. Not bad for your first one! This was a pretty difficult marathon as it was a trail marathon--all in the woods. We saw people coming out of the woods pretty beat up!

Trip to Chicago

Yesterday I went on a trip to Chicago with the Resseuies. It was really fun! And they don't call Chicago the windy city for nothing. It was a cold but sunny day...perfect for shopping and touring around Michigan ave. I spent way too much money and ate way to much, but who doesn't when they go to Chicago?

Winter Beach

Andy and I went to the beach today...it was really cool to see the beach in the winter. It's quite different thatn what we're used too! It was gorgeous, but very windy and cold:)

This building is the bathroom at the beach...and the sand is never drifted as high as it was today. We almost were able to jump onto the roof!

An update

Hello all!
I'm sorry I haven't posted anything in a long time, I've been busy busy with work and such.

An update on schooling! This fall I had been rejected from all the graduate schools I applied for and was very discouraged because there is not much that I can do with my degree without grad school, however God in all His infinite wisdom has made everything work out. Although I'm sure most of you know this already I've been accepted to Eastern Michigan University to get my Masters in Speech Pathology. It's a very exciting yet somewhat daunting thing! Getting accepted was such a high priority that I never really thought about the actual school part of it all...but I've met with my adviser and have registered for classes! I have also been able to find affordable housing a stones throw away from campus. I even get my own bathroom! It was just one more way God showed me that He was in control!I'm excited yet nervous...but I know everything will turn out well:)

Other than getting ready for school I have been working 35-40 hours a week at TGI Fridays and have been helping my friend get ready for her wedding and hanging out with Andy:) We just had our first "snow" storm--actually a large mix of snow and rain that has made the side streets into one big slab of ice!
As soon as my camera battery is charged...I'll take some pictures and post them!
